Amigo: the free Spanish game for kids, with pictures and audio
Amigo introduces beginner Spanish through pictures, sound, and play. Kids build vocabulary across 14 everyday themes, then practice genders and articles, sentence building, and short conversations. Free to play, with no ads and no tracking of your kids.
What kids learn
- Spanish words across colors, numbers, animals, food, family, body, and more
- Numbers from 0 to 20 and by tens to 100
- Common action verbs in their infinitive form
- Noun gender and the articles el, la, los, and las, including tricky exceptions
- Building correct sentences like "El gato come pescado"
- Greetings, polite phrases, and natural replies in mini-conversations
How it works
Each vocabulary theme offers picture-match, a timed quiz, and listen-and-tap modes, all with spoken Spanish audio. Grammar activities have kids tap the right article or assemble a sentence from word tiles, with plausible decoys to think past. Progress and stars are saved for each theme and level.
A grown-up signs in once and adds a player for each kid, so Amigo's stars and progress save to your account and follow you to any device.
