Short narrated scenes teach each idea first (in quizzes, right before the questions that use it), across eight topics: space, animals, the human body, weather, plants, physics, rocks and food webs. What kids learn
- Space: the planets and their order, day and night, moon phases, and seasons
- Animals: vertebrates and invertebrates, animal groups, and life cycles
- The human body: the heart, lungs, brain, organ systems, and digestion
- Plants and ecology: parts of a plant, photosynthesis, and food-chain roles
- Physical science: states of matter, floating and sinking, and pushes and pulls
- Earth science: the rock cycle, clouds, the water cycle, and storm safety
How it works
Kids start with the suggested set or pick one from a topic menu, then play a quiz, a Classify It sorting round or a Put It In Order sequence. Every answer gets instant feedback in words and colour; a miss shows the right answer (with a one-line reason in the Space, Moon and Animals quizzes). Each set scores correct answers for up to 3 stars, and the result screen points to the next set.
Kids can play without signing in; guest stars stay until you reload or close the page. A grown-up signs in once and adds a player for each kid, so WonderLab's stars and progress save to your account and follow you to any device.
