NoteQuest: the free music game to read notes and train your ear

NoteQuest teaches the building blocks of music through play. Kids learn to read notes on the treble and bass staff, recognize intervals and chords by ear, build major scales, and tap back rhythms — all with real synthesized sound. Free to play, with no ads and no tracking of your kids.

What kids learn

How it works

Reading and theory activities are tap-a-choice quizzes over a real music staff, with the sound played back on reveal. Ear-training and rhythm modes play tones or a metronome and grade how closely kids tap back the beat. There's also a tap-to-play xylophone that lights up as it plays familiar tunes.

A grown-up signs in once and adds a player for each kid, so NoteQuest's stars and progress save to your account and follow you to any device.
