Prickly Pot: a cozy maze game about planning the perfect path
Prickly Pot follows Pip, a small cactus searching for the perfect pot through ten increasingly tricky garden mazes. Kids plan routes, collect every water drop, open gates, and time safe crossings around moving bugs and boulders. It is free to play with no ads. Diffy measures product use to improve the service.
What kids learn
- Spatial planning by comparing routes through a grid maze
- Sequencing — collecting every required item before reaching the goal
- Cause and effect through flower switches, wooden gates, keys, and golden gates
- Timing and self-control around bugs and boulders that keep moving in real time
- Strategic use of waiting, shields, and freeze power-ups
- Efficiency by replaying patches to beat the par route and improve a best score
How it works
Move Pip with arrow keys, WASD, swipe gestures, or the on-screen direction pad. Each patch asks kids to gather every water drop before entering the pot; later patches add switches, keys, thorns, moving foes, shields, and freeze crystals. Ten patches, best-move scores, unlockable cactus skins, and an optional rebirth trail add a gentle progression loop.
A grown-up signs in once and adds a player for each kid, so Prickly Pot's stars and progress save to your account and follow you to any device.
